Montclair Culinary Academy (MCA) offers innovative, creative, healthy classes for children ages 6 and up and adults.
Our classes are hands-on and our students learn proper culinary skills such as food safety, knife skills (when appropriate), etiquette, science, social and math skills. Our student chefs will enjoy making, creating, healthy, fabulous and delicious food to take home.
In addition to children's classes, camps and parties, we also offer workshops, team building and private adult parties and much more. There has been much press about the benefits of cooking with children. See this recent NY Times article. Sharing the fun and love of cooking with others builds team spirit and offers each child the opportunity to create and explore the world around them.
